Breno Masi

Breno Masi gained fame of being the first Brazilian to unlock the iPhone (first generation) to be used by others carriers in 2007 July, a few days after the official lauch by Apple, with his friend Paulo Stool.
A forum has been created by hackers in all the world and several groups started to compete in favor of unlock. Although Breno Masi gaining fame as being the first to make the iPhone unlocking in Brazil, who really made the first release was George Hotz, four minutes before Masi.
Masi got international attention when he was the first to unlocked iPhone 3G in the world. He was interviewed by Engadget, who personally tested the unlocking and gave prominence to Masi.
