Brendan James Watson OAM is an Educational Leader, Principal and CEO of Catholic Regional College Institute of Training. As the executive manager, he leads a faith-based learning and educational community in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs. Career Catholic Regional College Sydenham Brendan is the principal of Catholic Regional College Sydenham. It is a secondary school in Australia with Trades Training Centre, restaurant, bakery, signage company, picture farming company, The Crate Theatre, beauty salon and fitness centre all open to the public while being run by students. CRC Bakery and Patisserie a training bakery owned and operated by the Catholic Regional College Trade Training Centre. Students are trained by professional bakers and pastry chefs in the art of bread making and pastries. Awards Australia Honours Day Received award for service to the Scouting movement, particularly as International Commissioner for Scouts Australia. Education University of Melbourne Brandon is currently working on a certificate in Doctor of Education (EdD), Vocational Education and Training. His thesis topic is "Do Trades Training Centres in low socio-economic communities democratise the curriculum?" Previously, he completed the Masters of Education Policy International (MEPI), Education Policy Analysis. Through this Masters program, academic study is combined with the opportunity to experience international education systems first-hand. Education systems from around the world are examined to understand how other countries have responded to rapid social and economic change and the challenges of globalisation. This provides the context for an analysis of Australian education policies at a state and national level. RMIT University In RMIT, he studied Masters of Business, Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations. It is comprehensive degree with a focus on Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations. Also, he completed a Graduate Diploma HR/IR, Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations.
