Brefo David

Brefo Abankwah David (born 23 January 1996), commonly known as Edgar Davids, is a Ghanaian footballer who plays as left back and a central midfielder.
Career
Born in Obuasi,Ghana, Brefo Began playing football for Arsenal Babies at the age of 7, He was been scouted by Ajax Amsterdam player Search Team and was asked to join the Ajax Youth Academy system in Obuasi, Ghana. Brefo spent only few years at the Academy and was promoted to join the reserves team of Ashanti Gold S.C at the age age 17.
He also gained a call-up from the Ghana National U17 team but couldn't represent his nation in the qualifies due to a toe injury in a friendly game, which the team also failed to make it to the Fifa U17 World Cup in UAE. David was later invited by and English Semi Professional side Hendon FC for trials, Hendon FC kept him for almost 3 months but couldn't obtain a working permit for him since he was still a minor, He came back to Ghana and joined a Division 3 side Obuasi United for a season and also helped the club to gain promotion to the Division 2 league in Ghana. At the age of 19 he signed a 1-year deal with Bidvest Wits FC in South Africa and played for the U21's and currently a free agent.
