Mohammed Gado

Mohammed Gado (born May 20, 1985 in Winneba) is a Ghanaian player currently playing at the position of Striker for the Israeli club Maccabi Herzliya F.C..

Trivia
The striker moved in august 2008 from Tema Youth to Maccabi Herzliya F.C., he played for Tema Youth last season on loan from division one side F.C. Maamobi Midjitland. The Ghanaian striker has thrilled the junior leagues in Germany in the past year since joining Borussia Mönchengladbach on observation from Ghanaian first division team Tudu Mighty Jets F.C., he ended the 2001/2002 junior league season as the highest scorer with 22 goals and he his reported to have scored some 13 goals so far in the league as the leading scorer for his team.

International
He was a member of the 2000 Ghana national U17 football team that played in the Meridian Cup tournament in Bari, Italy. He was invited to join the 2003 Black Satellites team that played in the Africa Youth Cup in Burkina Faso but an injury to his ankle kept him out of the team.
