Brannon Paul Bates (born May 17, 1982), is an American actor and musician. He is also commonly known as BrandØ Brannon Bates for his music persona BrandØ. Music Career Bates began playing guitar at ten years old. He began singing in Choir in Primary school and in a Pentecostalchurch at age twelve. In 2005 Bates invented the music persona BrandØ where he turned heads with his music video which played endlessly on television setting what would become a huge trend with "The BrandØ" hairstyle. Film Career Bates is most known for his music but actively pursues film and other arts. In 2012 Bates Starred and Directed the special-fx driven film-noir Payback Jack. Near-Fatal Motorcycle Accident In 2000 Bates was involved in a near fatal motorcycle accident which crushed most of the bones in both of his wrists. According to Newspaper and TV News reports, Bates hit a curb riding over 140 mph and he was thrown through the "Welcome to Pensacola" sign. It took two years of therapy in order for him to play guitar again.
