Bottle football is played using a regulation sized water bottle and field. The field is much shorter than an actual football field however there is still first down makers roughly every 8 yards. The sport is played using the NFL rulebook with several exceptions. Field goals also exist in bottle football but do have the same area as ones in the NFL do. There are also several other minor rule changes. Regulation bottles are half filled water bottles that are stripped of their brand wrapping.
