Question what is a Boofer????? The Term Boofer in western Pennsylvanian. Is used to describe a person who does something stupid, dresses poorly or a person who maintains a rundown residence. A person who is unkempt. "I can't go out like this. I look like a Boofer." "Look at that messy trailer park, what a bunch of boofers." "That lady over there is letting her baby use a unopened pack of cigarettes as a Binky, dumb boofer." Their is some argument on the spelling of the word boofer some say bouffer because that's how it's pronounced. Others argue boofer because the term boofers may have been originally used to describe a family with the last name boofer. <references /> |
