Bobbs is a term describing a copycat.
Originally the term was contrived as a shortened and somewhat twisted version of Bobbsey Twins, the iconic childrens series of books by Laura Lee Hope.
The word Bobbs first known use is from the early 1970's in Omaha, NE where it originated in a central part of the city as the result of unabashed and prolific events of copy-catting by the youngest of siblings in a large family.
Today, the term Bobbs is known and used across much of the English-speaking planet.
Common forms of usage would be, Mara, you Bobbsed off me. or, Loren, you're a Bobbs.
