'Snucka' is a word coined by Chris "Migs" Mignanelli, John Francis Roach, and Vince Iwinski at the University of Notre Dame in the late 90's. It has several common usages. Originally, it was a term loosely equivalent to the hip-hop usage of "nigga", but able to be used in mixed company. As the popularity of the term grew, it began seeing use as a substitute for "friend", "close confidant", or "brother". The word is part of the title of three songs by the Chicago band Umphrey's McGee, who were a central part of the social scene in South Bend in the late 90's. Urban Dictionary'stop result for "snucka" stems from these song titles: Pay the Snucka Parts 1, 2, and 3. Though the word is sometimes thought to be inspired by wrestler , there is no etymological relationship. A live version of Pay the Snucka pt. 3 is included on the DVD Live from the Lake Coast. <h3>References</h3> <references/>
