Huburban

The Huburbanites are a demographic group of city-center dwellers who have taken the opportunity to exploit urban regeneration to their own end. Typically, Huburbanites have moved into the centre of an urban area, hence the derivative term from the term 'suburb'.
Urban regeneration
Urban regeneration has been rife in American cities for the last few decades, and none so much as Los Angeles and the districts of Las Vegas, where the term was originally coined.
Similar urban regeneration has occurred in major European cities, where the Huburbanites has conquered once run-down city areas. In London, England, the old docks have been regenerated, as have many of the industrial buildings in northern English cities such as Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool.
Commercial infastructure
The Huburbanites not only reside in once run-down inner-city areas, they redevelop the commercial and infastructure too - with the profileration of cafes, bars etc.
Derivations
Huburb
The word "huburb" is a derivative of the word "suburb"- which is itself derived from the Old French "subb urbe" and ultimately from the Latin "suburbium," formed from "sub," meaning "under," and "urbis," meaning "wall" or "walled city." The first recorded usage, according to the Oxford English Dictionary, comes from Wycliffe in 1380, where the form "subarbis" is used.
"The Burbs" first appeared as a term for the suburbs of Chicago. In the UK, much of this pattern dates to Margaret Thatcher's reforms of 1985 and the subsequent inner City redevelopment that occurred from the mid-1990s onwards.
Huburban population
The term Huburban was originally a description of the central part of a city's residential area. The hub of an urban space specifically relating to inner city redevelopment. Relating to or characteristic of or situated in inner city areas.
