BluePay is a merchant account provider and payment gateway service provider with the capability to allow merchants to accept credit card and electronic checks payments through their Web site, through a Microsoft Dynamics GP plugin, and through dial up modem connections. BluePay is the only one-stop shop merchant account provider and payment gateway that is Microsoft Certified with the capability to accept ACH and credit card transactions through an integrated Microsoft Dynamics GP plugin using its own PCI compliant BluePay 2.0 payment gateway.
In April 2008, with BluePay's new funding partner, Goldman Sachs, BluePay acquired four premuim merchant portfolios, adding nearly 5000 new merchants in the acquisitions. This acquisition included hundreds of wireless and business-to-business applications.
Services BluePay offers various payment services directly to merchants. BluePay's services include a PCI compliant payment gateway, merchant account services, enterprise level billing solutions, credit card processing equipment, and credit card processing support services.
BluePay is directly integrated with various shopping carts including Zen Cart, Oscommerce, and NELiX Store. BluePay has 2 main interfaces to integrate to, bp10emu and bp20post. bp10emu is an emulator for a legacy gateway known as BluePay version 1.3. bp20post is the preferred choice for integration to the BluePay 2.0 gateway. Both bp10emu and bp20post utilize HTTP post over SSL, or [], to send encrypted payment transactions to the BluePay Gateway. The biggest difference between the 2 interfaces is that bp10emu utilizes an HTTP redirect mechanism to allow a merchant to redirect their customer back to the merchant's website, whereas bp20post simply returns the results of the transaction in the body of the HTTP response.
