Bluecanvas Magazine was launched in July of 2009 by Jimmy Yun, Justin Yun, Scott Hitomi and Cecil Kim (Bluecanvas, Inc) giving the community of artists from Bluecanvas.com the opportunity to have their work from the website printed in an internationally distributed publication. Bluecanvas magazine is a multi-genre art magazine published by Bluecanvas, Inc based in Los Angeles, California. Bluecanvas was established under the auspices that inspiration is not genre specific. The artwork ranges from Illustration, Photography, Architecture, Drawing, Cartoon, Tattoo, Typography, Digital Art, Installation art, Murals, Street Art, Traditional art, to Mixed Media and more. The artwork in Bluecanvas magazine is derived from artists who are all members of Bluecanvas.com, who each is nominated to be published by their peer community. From the top-nominated, a select few are chosen by the Bluecanvas staff to appear in a future issue of the publication.
