Blink Twice

Blink Twice was the music project founded of Los Angeles-based composer Robert Salchak. He debuted with the split studio album Baby Had an Accident in 1993.
History
Blink Twice was founded as a solo musical outlet composer Robert Salchak in 1992 out of Los Angeles. Robert Salchak of Blink Twice had heard several cassettes produced by GPC Productions and decided sent a tape of his compositions its label owner Alex Kane. In March 1993, they released Baby Had an Accident, a split album with The MAS, for GPC Productions. Blink Twice's music was titled Possible Images on side two of the album and titled and came packaged in a VHS sleeve with the label's standard package of an expanded booklet containing music information., and Blink Twice was signed to the with German label Broken Seal Records, with Salchak stating that he had no interest in re-releasing the songs he sent to Kane. The band followed with the self-released Clouded and Torn Soul and Other Locations released in 1993 and 1995 respectively.
The band then released 1995's Subsistence for Crewzine, The Brighter the Moon, the Darker the Shadows for Healter Skelter Organisation and Slow Escape From Sorrow by Sick Muse. Salchak sent a copy of Clouded to Frank Roestel who signed Blink Twice to his label Broken Seal Records for the release of Other Locations in 1996. His second album for the label was released in 1998 and titled Newer Unknown Breeds. In 1999 Salchak released The Demon Haunted World, Blink Twice's first album for Possessive Blindfold and eighth album total. The album was well-received critically and peaked on CMJ at postision twenty-nine in August of that year. He released a second album for Possessive Blindfold titled The Holistic Approach in 2000. Seventeen years after their last studio album Blink Twice released the compilation Dark Mystery Hour in 2017 and the EP Dark Alchemy in 2020, both issued by Cian Orbe Netlabel.
