Technology
Bitglass acts an intermediary between users and the cloud, protecting data end-to-end, from the cloud application to the endpoint device. The system provides several data protection functions including data leakage prevention, access control, cloud encryption, mobile device security and user behavior analytics. Control and visibility functions are applied via a combination of proxies (agentless reverse proxy, agentless Activesync proxy, and forward proxy) and API integrations with leading cloud applications. The solution is delivered either as a multi-tenant service, hosted on Amazon Web Services, or as a premises deployment in an enterprise's data center(s).
