Anthony Antwann Allen (born June 26, 1970),
better know as BISHOP “A” aka “Tha Party King” is an American Hip-Hop artist and Business man that has been given and assignment to crank up the party scene. He uses the name BISHOP because it stands for leader and that's what he has been called to do in Hip-Hop. The A symbolizes the fist character of his first, middle and last name. He also uses the name “Tha Party King” quite often to exploit the area of Hip-Hop he’s been called to and his position in the field. He is known for hot up-tempo songs like Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes and Wash-N-Machine. BISHOP is also the owner of his own Record Label by the name of Hip-Hop Party League (HPL) Inc. He and Super producer Keith “Versitile” Bell have just rapped up an album entitled “Freedom Party” and are currently working on “Freedom Party II” which will feature other artist on his label. They are also working on BISHOP’S solo project entitled “Big night at the CLUB”.
Bishop A is a devoted father of 6 and now resides in Lithonia Georgia with his kids.

Early life

BISHOP “A” is a native of Houston Texas. He grew up watching his mother and her brothers band “The Funk Factor” performing in local Houston events and accredits a great deal of his love for music to that time in his life. He started out in Hip-Hop in 1980 dancing and at the age of 14 he started beat boxing which made him a very popular entertainer in school. He started rapping at the age of 15 and ended up putting a rap/dance group together called “The Cola Boys”. This group was known for their ability to hype any party scene. After high school he served in the military then attending college on a football and track scholarship. Even though BISHOP enjoyed a life of athletic popularity he never lost his love for performing Hip-Hop Music. In the year 2000 after his carrier ended in sports he was inspired to get back involved in Hip Hop music. After studying the business for three years, perfecting his writing skills and two years of studio and stage preparation he officially started his carrier as a hip-hop artist on February 25, 2005 with his fist single entitled "Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes".

It is an up-tempo song that came with a electrifying dance. This song was written and recorded by BISHOP "A" and the music was composed and produce by Oscar White III. This song has been rated #1 on sound click several times and continued to stay on top of the sound click charts for over a year.

Prodigal Child (2005)
This song was also featured on the single Head, Shoulder, Knees & Toes. Its focus was to encourage those that had left God to come back home because their Father was waiting on them. This song touched the hearts of many and inspired them to believe that God loved them despite what them or anyone else thought. This song was written by BISHOP A and the music was composed and produced by Oscar White III.

This song was officially released 08/01/08. Wash-N-Machine is another song that involved a dance routine. This song came with 4 different versions in 4 different categories of music. BISHOP’S focus with Wash-N-Machine was to get everyone to take their problems to God and enjoy life. After his 2005 release Bishop was inspired to start a group by the name of Hip-Hop Party League. In August of 2007 he was inspired to take the idea of this group to Atlanta GA. There he met Mr. Keith “Versitile” Bell a Super Producer from New Orleans, LA. In 2008 Bishop was Inspired to start a record label by the name of Hip-Hop Party League (HPL), Inc.

BISHOP A is man that believes that God loves everyone despite their ways and he created us all too positively prosper in his designed way. He started speaking in 1999 and has done so since. The message that he has be give to deliver is very simple and it is that God created a system for everyone to prosper in all we have to do is learn it and apply it.

Bishop A is a writer of music and books. At the present time BISHOP A has over 60 songs in his catalog. He can right across the board meaning that no form of music is left out. Although he is a Hip-Hop artist his writing ability is not limited which allows him to cross a lot of other forms of music into Hip-Hop. He is also an outstanding book writer that has completed a book series entitled “Total control”. This book will instruct and encourage everyone that reads it to operate in the authority they have been given by God. He is also working on 4 other books and is also looking into writing his first movie script.
