Birdgang Clothing is a line of urban sports apparel in support of the University of Louisville Athletics. The clothing line officially went on sale on September 26, 2012 and is licensed by the Collegiate Licensing Company. History Birdgang Clothing LLC is a Louisville, Kentucky based business. The apparel company was created in 2012, by Buffalo Stille aka B. Stille and Ron Clutch of Grammy-nominated hip-hop recording artists Nappy Roots, along with multi-platinum publicist Jonathan Hay and Sabrina Hale of Hoopla Worldwide. Birdgang Clothing has been approved by the University of Louisville and according to the Card Chronicle, players and recruits are excited about it. Buffalo Stille tweets out “Birdgang Everything” through Twitter in reference to all the school sports teams and I Am Birdgang is the official slogan of the company. Journalist Tom Moon said, "Sky’s the limit for this company." During a meeting for Birdgang Clothing, Stille and Hay came up with the idea for the nationally distributed holiday album titled "A Different Kind Of Christmas". Philadelphia Eagles, Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens (who are known as the "Purple City Bird Gang") and the Seattle Seahawks. In the NBA only the Atlanta Hawks are referred to as "Birdgang".
