Bill Nass (Musician)

William Nicholaus Lyimo (born 11 April 1993 in Dar Es Salaam), known by his stage name Bill Nass, is a Tanzanian rapper, singer and songwriter. Lyimo rose to fame after the release of his debut single "Raha" featuring Naaziz.
MTV Base named him as one of the "Best 50 Artists to Watch For In 2017".
Early Life
Bill Nass was born on April 11, 1993, in Moshi. He got inspired to do music by the likes of Albert Mangwair, Langa, Dully Sykes, Chidi Beenz
, Ja rule, Lil Wayne, Jay Z and The Game.
Career
In 2015, Lyimo was nominated for "Best New Aartist" in Kilimanjaro Music Awards for his debut single Raha, although he didn't win the award. In 2017, Bill Nass made his debut on Coke Studio Africa as a Big Break Artist, perfomed alongside Uganda's Sheeba and Ethiopia's Asgegenew.
In 2018, Bill Nass and his fiancee Nandy, were briefly detained by the Tanzanian Authorities for sharing what they considered as being aindecent online content.
