Big Hoodoo

In early 2013 Psychopathic Records released a picture promoting a new entity on Psychopathic Records. After Psychopathic Records released 3 or 4 promotional pictures in total it was announced in a short video that the new artist was called "Big Hoodoo", and his debut album was titled Crystal Skull and it would be released on July 2, 2013. Formally known as Doe Dubbla, Big Hoodoo First signed with Psychopathic Records in 2013. In June of 2013 Pyschopathic released his debut music video Hexed of his album "Crystal Skull" Later that month a second music video was released for Hoodoo's second single "Never Had".Big Hoodoo is another stage name for Detroit rapper Doe Dubbla, also known as the Jinx. When Psychopathic Records, the Farmington Hills, Michigan independent record label founded by Alex Abiss and Insane Clown Posse, parted ways with Twiztid, one of the label's most popular acts, the pressure was on to find a replacement act. That turned out to be Doe Dubbla in his Big Hoodoo incarnation, a cartoonish mix of Screamin' Jay Hawkins and one of those over-the-top masked characters from a bad Mexican wrestling movie. ICP had a heavy hand in the production of Big Hoodoo's debut album, Crystal Skull, a label-typical blend of horrorcore rap, filled with Dubbla's theatrical hexes and spells, and maybe most notable for not using the word "juggalo" anywhere, in the summer of 2013.
Style and lyricism
Allmusic described Big Hoodoo as a cross between "Screamin' Jay Hawkins and one of those over-the-top masked characters from a bad Mexican wrestling movie." Crystal Skull notably does not use the word Juggalo, which frequently appears in albums released by Psychopathic.<ref name=allmusic/>
