Big Bang Internet Traffic represents a lot of internet traffic dedicated to a single site or webpage generated form Social Sites like Twitter in a short period that in result helped this site or article to gain a high Page Rank and a good position in Google Search results.

This expression was first introduced by Alexandru Vornicescu (aka Alex Vorn) on his blogspot blog on Friday, August 14, 2009.

This chart represents a simulation of Big Bang Internet Traffic, we can see that a great amount of visitors came from referring or from social sites (colored in blue); and in a result the visitors who liked the article/site posted a Backlink to his/her blog that helped this article/site to get a better position in search results.
As a result a quality article with a great amount of traffic generates dozens or hundreds of backlinks from different blogs that creates a great position in Google Search and on this the site generates more and more visitors in a long period (colored in red).
