Bianca Jade

Bianca Jade Taxman (born January 20, 1979), better known as Bianca Jade or MizzFIT, is an American blogger and fitness trend expert. Her website, MizzFIT.com, covers fitness fashion and health and wellness news, with a focus on trends spanning the United States. She has also worked as a freelance fitness and health contributor for FoxNews.com , and is contracted talent with IMG Media for a fitness-based reality show.
Early life
Jade was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to Philip and Maria Taxman. She has a Hispanic ethnic background through her mother, who is Honduran. She attended and played team sports at John Burroughs School, a private high school, in St. Louis. She was also a trained suicide-crisis helpline worker at Kids Under Twenty One (KUTO).
Jade graduated in 2001 from Cornell University with a B.A. in psychology, and went on to study advertising, art direction, design and copywriting at the Miami Ad School.
Career
Jade worked for several years as a creative art director in advertising. In 2009, she founded MizzFIT.com, which covers fitness and fashion trends and news for women. Under the tagline "Your Guide To Radiant Style And A Strong Life", the site offers a fitness style guide; a directory of favorite gyms, gym classes and exercise organizations throughout the United States; a compilation of interviews with celebrities, athletes and fashion designers about their fitness lifestyles, and more.
Many of the recommendations for workout clothing on MizzFIT.com are inspired by New York City street style that Jade photographs and recreates with activewear. "I'm always taking inspiration from day wear and evening wear and trying to incorporate it into fitness style," Jade told TimeOut NewYork in 2010. She also gives fashion and beauty advice pertaining to accessories, skin & hair care, diet, supplements and sleep.
Style Up to Shape Up is Jade's fitness philosophy and wellness consulting service. Designed to change how women look at fitness, this fitness-coaching program seeks to help women personalize their workout routine and transform each workout into an entertaining event. Jade teams up with fitness brands to perform fitness makeovers for women, and incorporates her Style Up 2 Shape Up program in gifting suites every year for .
Jade also partners with major sportswear brands to publicize and raise funds for fitness-based charities and the people they help.

Jade has been quoted on fitness trends, celebrity workouts, and female empowerment by various publications and websites, including US Weekly online, Teen Vogue, Shape.com, personal blogs, online college publications,, and celebrity gossip sites.
Jade has appeared on various television programs, including NBC's The Today Show; World's Greatest Body Shockers, which aired in the United Kingdom on Channel E4; and Great Day St. Louis, a morning show on KMOV-TV Channel 4 in her hometown.

She has also appeared on webcasts, including FOX News Latino's webcast show Ask Dr. Manny and "Daily Dose With Jillian Michaels" on Everyday Health TV on YouTube.
On May 31, 2012, Jade hired Premier Management Group, also known as PMG Sports, as her agent.
Accomplishments
*In late 2009, Jade, along with Teen Vogue Fitness Editor Eva Chen, was invited by Nike to join their Global Influencer Panel and speak about the role of fitness and fashion in the lives of young women.
*On January 7, 2011, FOX News Latino's website published an article by Jade describing Kat DeLuna's workout regimen and fitness tips.

*On May 30, 2011, Life & Style Weekly quoted Jade in a story about Britney Spears' revitalized exercise regimen. "The new Britney has banned junk food from her tour," Jade said in the story.
*On June 16, 2011, Jade celebrated the two-year anniversary of MizzFIT.com with a party at Technogym in New York City's SoHo neighborhood. IMG was in attendance to case a new reality show they are developing about entrepreneurs in New York City's fitness industry
*Jade is a four-time participant of the ING New York City Marathon with Team Continuum, which is a not-for-profit cancer organization founded by her mentor, the late Paul Nicholls. She credits Nicholls as her inspiration to help others.
Jade is the first cousin of Logan Kurtz, founder of DefinitePossibilities.com.
