Beverly Macca

Beverly Macca or Beverly Macca CBA is a fictional character played by Del Willden and is most notable for her work at Wirral Radio. Not to be confused with the unseen name talked about on the Royle Family.

The Wirral Radio Breakfast show
Macca joined The Wirral Radio Breakfast show with John Storey and Ian Kenyon back in 2014 when the station was first starting out. Macca and Kenyon have an open dislike to each other on air, although the pair claim to have a good off air relationship. Macca also is host to a feature on The Wirral Radio Breakfast show called "Midweek Macca", where (on a Wednesday) she will randomly call up a celebrity and conduct an interview. Previous Midweek Macca celebrities have included: Eamonn Holmes, Ruth Langsford, Denise Welch, Lorraine Kelly, Fern Britton, , Kate Thornton, Wendi Peters, Sally Ann Matthews, Coleen Nolan, Rustie Lee and Russell Tovey.
Bev's Big Night Out
As well as the Breakfast show, Macca also hosts Bev's Big Night Out which airs on Saturdays between 7pm and Midnight which includes party music, discussion from Bev's so-called 'trashmags' (Magazines) and some of Bev's unite witty humour.
iTunes Single
On September 13, 2014, Macca released a single on iTunes called "Poundshop Princess". The song is sung by Macca herself and features lyrics exclaiming her anger towards people not knowing the price of products, despite the obvious name of the fictional shop. The song is 2 minutes 33 seconds long and costs £0.79 to purchase or you can listen to it on the Wirral Radio website for free.
Personal life
Back in 2012, Macca asked Eamon Holmes whether Ruth Langsford would know the difference between a 'Pound Paradise' candle or a considerably more expensive brand of candle, generating a lot of laughter on ITV show, This Morning. Moving on to 2013, Macca made an appearance on Big Brothers Big on the Side where she controversially claimed that Charlotte responses where 'childlike'. In 2014, Benidorm star Crissy Rock was recorded claiming to be Beverly's mother and claimed that Beverly had mistaken her mother to be Vanessa Feltz instead.< In December of the same year, Beverly released a Christmas message thanking her followers for their support and wishing them a positive future. To present day, Macca continues to present the Wirral Radio Breakfast show and Bev's Big Night Out on a Saturday.
Community Work
Charity Work
Macca has participated in numerous amounts of charitable work raising £1000's in donations over the years. Macca is known to support the Katy Holmes Trust, Tomorrow's Women Appeal Wirral and Cancer Research UK.
Local Work
Macca has been known for various work around the local community. Recently, Macca turned on Christmas lights in multiple venues including Liscard and Moreton and in 2013, Macca was involved in the Friends of Meol's Park firework display, where she pushed the plunger.
