Zack Shutt

Zachary DeReese Shutt is an American novelist, producer, and entrepreneur best known for his work with the band Unwritten Law. He also produces the Geek show podcast, a podcast hosted by Radio From Hell's Kerry Jackson, and was interviewed in local Salt Lake City magazine In Utah This Week about his involvement in the Geek Show Podcast .
The April 1st 2009 issue of City Weekly announced that the Geek Show was voted "Best Podcast" by the Salt Lake City magazine .
Work and Personal Life
Producing
Doghouse Records invited Shutt to produce the debut album for the band Weatherbox titled American Art on May 8, 2007. American Art was recorded in Shutt's private studios in Salt Lake City Utah.
Shutt was the driving force behind producing Live and Lawless for the San Diego, California rock band Unwritten Law, released in 2008 by Suburban Noize. It was recorded live on March 7th, at the Key Club in Hollywood California.
Blogs Of Wrath
In May of 2009 it was announced that the novel Blogs Of Wrath would be published by iUniverse and released in late 2009 . The novel was a collaboration between Shutt and Todd C. Noker, longtime friend and program director of X96 radio in Salt Lake City Utah.
When asked to describe the novel by Salt Lake's local magazine City Weekly, Noker replied:

It’s a story about a kid trying to grow up in the suburbs of Salt Lake City. It’s placed in this post-Columbine era where teachers are scared of kids,” he says, then continues with a wry grin, “It’s about the kind of stuff I would do as a kid that would get you thrown out of school now.

The novel's official Facebook Page describes Blogs Of Wrath gives the following synopsis: "Carl DeReese only wants to survive junior high school in the Salt Lake City suburbs, but in an era when teachers are afraid of the students, some of his behavior is misdiagnosed as threatening."
Personal Life
Currently he resides in Utah with his dog Max. He is the owner of Flipp Media a local interactive agency and marketing firm.
