Benowa State Primary School

Benowa State Primary School is located in Benowa, Queensland, Australia.

History
Benowa State Primary was opened as a small rural school in 1885. The school continued as rural school until in the 1970's and 80's. Benowa underwent major change and so did the school.

Students
Benowa State Primary currently enrolls 725 students in Prep to year 7 and has 50 students in Special Education Unit.

Sport Houses
The school is divided into 3 different houses. Kellerman, Moncreiff and Wright. These houses are represented by colours. Kellerman's colour is navy blue, Moncreiff's colour is gold and Wright's colour is Maroon.

Interschool Sport
In the second term, students in year 5–7 may participate in interschool sport. The interschool sports offered are Australian Rules football, touch football, netball, hockey and soccer.
