Bennett Hennessey is a Canadian who grew up in the city of Toronto, the same city in which he completed a customized zoology/environmental science degree at University of Toronto. He worked in the Congo doing field work for a year, ending this period living with the Mbendjele rainforest pygmies. Bennett has been living in Bolivia for nearly 20 years and continues to do so and in this time he has raised over $4 million for bird conservation while directing Asociacíon Armonía. Bennett's additional bird conservation experience includes tour guiding, surveys, reserve design, trail creation, presentations, lodge creation, and writing.
