Beemos

About

BEEMos is a 'SubOS' or Shell that looks like an operating system, and works like one, but uses Windows to run on.
Because of this it installs and opens like an application or game, and requires no partitioning and very little space.
Originally designed early 2007, the creator Joshua Liddle made BEEMos mainly as a hobby. Joshua began work on it a few months later after planning it.

BEEMos is based on GML (Game Maker Language a programming language by Mark Overmars for Game Maker and is expected to lack features because of what its made with, however it will still include the usual features of any operating system regardless of what language is used.

Technology
BEEMos isn't a hugely advance OS, and simply includes applications, basic controls and easy booting, however it is still in development and actually hasn't had a beta release yet.

Currently it uses basic window systems, basic resolution functions, cursors, and simple engines.

Other
BEEMos was also the reason for the opening of the and is responsible for bringing a lot of great developers out into the world to create and distribute their own SubOS creations.
