Opened during the Fall 2007 Semester, the Bearcat Sports Complex, which replaced West Gym Field as the premier field on the Binghamton University campus, holds both gameday and practice fields for Division 1 soccer and lacrosse. Both fields are grounded with synthetic grassy turf; the practice field holds 1,000 spectators and the game field fits a larger crowd of 2,534. Additional features include night lighting over both fields, a concession stand, press booth, sound system and bathrooms. Located adjacent to the Binghamton University Events Center, the BSC was funded by $3.6 million paid directly from the university itself.
