Battelle Pogojet

The Battelle Pogojet is a less-than-lethal firearm developed by the Armor Development Group and the Battelle Memorial Institute.
Overview
The Battelle Pogojet uses an operation pushing on a spigot piston that when actuated strikes the primer inside the round ignites the propellant firing the projectile similar to that of a pogo stick hence the name. As soon as the spigot piston reaches its full extent, the exhaust gases are vented outwards, so the round propels at the same pace, or directed via holes in the base of the round (a la rocket nozzles) to provide as much extra propulsion as required.
