Bath Fitter is a home improvement company that manufactures and installs bathtubs, showers, shower walls, plumbing fixtures and other bathroom accessories. Bath Fitter has manufacturing facilities in Springfield, Tennessee and Montreal, Canada.
History
Bath Fitter has been a manufacturer of acrylic bathtub liners, bathtub surrounds, shower stall liners and shower stall replacements since 1984. Bath Fitter created its first manufacturing facility in 1987. By the early 1990s, Bath Fitter began creating company-owned & franchised locations in the United States and Canada. Today, there are over 200 locations throughout North America.
They received the Tennessee Governor's Award of Excellence for Workplace Safety in April 2011.
During 2010 and 2011, Bath Fitter was on the Qualified Remodeler Magazine's Top 500 remodelers list, based on revenue.
Products
Bath Fitter manufactures and installs acrylic bathtubs, shower surrounds, one-piece seamless shower walls, bath & shower doors, tub-to-shower conversions, easy access products, and other bathroom fixtures & accessories. The company is different from traditional bathroom remodeling companies because rather than removing, reglazing, or refinishing the old bathtub, the company creates a custom acrylic liner that fits over the top of the old tub.
In addition to providing remodeling services for residential homes, Bath Fitter also provides commercial renovations for apartments, hotels, Pharmaprix Weekend to End Women's Cancers, and the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation.
In November 2011, Bath Fitter received the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence Commitment Award which recognizes organizations that are beginning to demonstrate commitment to, and implementation of, performance
improvement principles.
Bath Fitter was announced as a sponsor for the Alabama Hammers professional indoor football team for the 2012 season.
