archimania is an architecture and interior design firm founded in 1995 and based in Memphis, Tennessee. Located in downtown Memphis's South Main Historic Arts District, archimania is a 15-member studio led by principals Todd Walker, AIA and Barry Alan Yoakum, AIA. The firm is known for its relaxed, team-oriented culture and its ability to design modern, innovative solutions on limited budgets.
History archimania was formed on July 4, 1995 as a 2-person design firm. Work began on small residential projects and office spaces, including archimania's own workspace at 356 South Main Street. Within a few years, the firm was designing custom homes, condominium developments, and mid-size commercial projects. By 2003, archimania had grown to nearly a dozen employees and had been commissioned to design such major projects as Sutherland Cardiology Clinic, a 50,000-square-foot medical center. In 2006, the firm gained national exposure when it was selected to design Conservation Hall at the Tennessee Governor's Mansion. Currently, archimania is comprised of 15 design professionals, including three LEED Accredited professionals and four registered architects. Working across the public and private sectors, the firm designs housing, healthcare, civic, educational, retail, and commercial office projects.

archimaniacs When the firm was named "archimania," the creators coined the term "archimaniacs" to describe those who work at the firm. In addition, an archimaniac can also be an associate, friend, or client who is a passionate and active supporter of archimania's design work. As the name implies, an archimaniac is someone who is a crazy, or a "maniac", about architecture.
