Barry Baker (Born 16 May 1971 in Nottingham), Currently a non league football manager for Shepshed Dynamo F.C., Barry qualified with FIFA as a Fifa Licensed Players Agent, qualified in 1999. He briefly played as a Goalkeeper for Notts County's youth team in 1986 before an injury caused his early retirement.
September 2000, Baker took on the role as youth team manager at Grantham Town Football Club. He was in charge of the youth set up and Director of Football at Grantham Town until November 2009.
During his spell he produced many quality youth players that progressed to Academy teams, notably Graham Hutchison who at 17 years old signed for Birmingham City in March 2010. Grantham Town F.C. entered into a ground share agreement with Grantham Rangers F.C. for the 2009/2010 season, after Baker's youth team was top of the Youth National League the local council declared that only 2 teams could share the South Kesteven Sports Stadium, so Grantham had to withdraw the Youth team. Baker then moved to take up the managers role at Grantham Rangers and took all the youth players with him in November.
Baker resigned from Grantham Ranger to pursue other opportunities at the end of the 2010 season.
In May 2010 Baker was appointed as first team manager at Shepshed Dynamo F.C. and has appointed Bob Norris as his assistant.
