The Barnsley and District Junior Football League is a junior football league in which most children's football teams in Barnsley play in. It is a relatively big league with 38 clubs and 175 teams. It was founded in July 2015 by Gavin Logan, winner of the Children's Champion Awards in 2019. Teams can vary from U7s to U14s and the league continues to grow each year. History The Barnsley and District Junior Football League was founded in July 2015 by Gavin Paul with affiliation to the Sheffield & Hallamshire County Football Association and in its first season only had 28 teams from 16 clubs.
