Banks boyz banks boyz was a four piece boyband from lancashire england, formed in october 2004 by label jazz records. Banks Boyz sold more than 300 thousand records between the years of 2004-2005. banks boyz were discribed in the romanian Fanfare Magazine as "more contagious than Anthrax but not as deadly" banks boyz dance-oriented pop tunes and soulful rap ballads dominted eastern europe charts in the early 2000s,spawning one of the best debut albums of the decade if the streets dont kill me (which was nominated for the best international album of the year rma award 2005) banks boyz are well known for theirs hits banks hop,banks boyz for life and f**k the critics. banks boyz achieved most of their success in eastern europe although some argue they were close to uk success near their split. Band Members Michael ST Lawrenson Joe Thomas Doogan Alex Lumsden hayden rimmer The Split On 21 september 2005 after many drug and fight rumours reported by the tabloids Banks Boyz announced that they were splitting. since the split the banks boyz have moved back to england but nothing has been reported since.
