Awesome Camp

Awesome Camp is an archive of web site humor launched in October 2010. It's main contributors were Rory McCarthy and Rico Barrera, but the web site began to feature additional contributors as of November 2010. Awesome Camp runs under the motto "The #1 Source of Online Entertainment in the Non-Porn Category."
McCarthy currently manages the website himself from his home in Mayfield Heights, along with twelve or so stray cats. A 2011 audit revealed the site to have an approximate net worth of $9.37.

* Stuff From Rico and Rory: Live! Rico and Rory: Live! was launched in November 2009 by Barrera and McCarthy as the world's first live Internet blog. The website was a live feed of news, editorials, exposés and personal stories, broadcast from Columbus, Ohio several times a week. In July of 2010 Barrera decided to leave the project to pursue a degree in law, and McCarthy consequently sold the website to the Suneya Corporation, Japan's largest re-seller of Government-harvested whale meat, for approximately 1 million yen. Drastically overestimating the real-world value of 1 million yen, McCarthy soon became destitute and was not seen nor heard of for seven months. This section contains notable works from that project.
* Stuff From 3Cats1Nut: After the sale of Live!, several writers from the now-defunct 3Cats1Nut sports blog found McCarthy wrestling with several stray cats for garbage near a sewage run-off chute. Exemplifying compassion and hospitality, the writers invited McCarthy to live in their utility closet provided he occasionally wrote posts for their website. McCarthy agreed, and between July and November of 2010, produced many works for 3Cats1Nut. This section contains notable works from that project.
* New Stuff: In November of 2010, McCarthy left 3Cats as he promised he would, and went off to create his own website. He intended the site to include archived works from previous projects, as well as new material which would feature several new contributors. This section contains all the new works from this time onward.
