Dr Awdhesh Kumar Singh or Dr A. K. Singh is an author, speaker, motivator and Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer of 1990 batch. Presently he is a Commissioner grade officer (customs & central excise) & posted in Chennai as Additional Director General, Directorate General of Central Excise Intelligence. Early life and education Awdhesh Singh was born in the Raebareli District of Uttar Pradesh. His early education was in Lucknow. He did his B.Tech in mechanical engineering from IIT Varanasi in 1987 and M.Tech from IIT Delhi in 1990. After joining IRS, he took study leave and completed his Ph.D from Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior. |
