Avon Nova Westem

History

Avon Nova Westem is a fictional pyschotic serial killer created by Chad Lafond, who exists in the World Of Ciege and Avon novel. Avon is usually in possession of a gem that grants him special powers. He has been supposedly killed many times only to rise again as if nothing had happened. At first in the Avon novel he seemed to be just an ordinary guy until Doctor Elsa Brown, at the hospital revealed his secrets she promised never to reveal to anyone to the board, who want to admit Avon to Geland Asylum for studying, after which he goes on a murder spree throughout the hospital killing over 40 people. While in the hospital Avon meets Death, who reveals to him the location of a powerful gem called the Forever gem. But in order for him to even touch the gem he must make love to a virgin in it's presents or his body would be torn apart (even though in the second novel Niethen simply gets electrocuted from touching it). Avon succeeds in getting the gem by making love to Elsa Brown in front of the gem, but is supposedly killed when Police Chief Grant Dansy and several SWAT agents shoot him repeatedly with Assault Rifles, causing Avon to stumble back and fall into a seeming bottomless pit. Even though Avon returns and takes his three year old son, Jerry Westem and again kidnaps the now pregnant Elsa, and brings them to Wheelham castle which is assumed to be where they stay until the second book picks up from there.

In Avon 2 a year has passed since the hospital massacre and Avon makes Mayor Ruge have dreams of being murdered every night and stalks the Mayor. By this time Grant Dansy has quit the force (but later it is discovered he was murdered by Niethen Rewlate) and Mayor Ruge instead promotes Niethen to police chief. Ruge didn't know but, Niethen was secretly in league with Avon and was an undercover agent. Ruge gets the location of where Avon is hiding and himself and 5 vans of SWAT agents go to Wheelham castle to check it out. The location is correct and all of the SWAT agents end up getting slaughtered by the traps in the castle or Avon's thugs. Jerry had created several inventions and monsters, notably the biological Minotaur and Water Dragon that dwell in the dungeon of the castle. Death appeared begging Avon to use the power of the Forever gem to resurrect his dead master, Soul Killer. Avon refuses and kills Death twice, on the third encounter with Death, Ruge and John Kent(Elsa Brown's boyfriend) knock the Forever gem off of Avon's cape which allows Death to violently slay Avon and bring him to Hell.

Even though, Avon again reappears 14 years later as the main antagonist in World Of Ciege. In World Of Ciege Avon is now 40 years old and his children, Jenna and Jerry live with him. Jenna is a professional fighter and Jerry is a scientist with an IQ of 300. They are also rich and own their own mansion and army of robots created by Jerry. Jenna and Jerry go by the nicknames Mistress JAGE and Master JAGE respectively. Avon's third son, Ciege who he impregnated Elsa Brown with in the second novel was abandon and has no idea he is related to the Westems(despite having almost exactly the same appearance). It is later revealed that Ciege is Avon's son in the last episode of the series when Avon is unmasked for the first time on camera.

Inspiration
Avon's personality was based off of Slade Wilson from Teen Titans. He behaves much in the way Slade does right down to always wearing a mask and making wise cracks to the protagonists. Another person Avon is based off is Michael Myers, this is because Avon can take shotgun bullets and still remain unharmed. Avon was also designed because in the beta World Of Ciege Jenna and Jerry had no origin and needed a father figure.
