Atlee Yarrow

Atlee Yarrow (born June 8, 1967 in New London, CT) is a Social Democratic politician and was the first person to be expelled from the Socialist Party of the United States of America in over 20 years on June 9, 2007 during the Socialist Party of Florida’s state convention. He never appealed to the National Committee during the National Convention of the Socialist Party of the United States of America on October 19-21, 2007 held in St. Louis, MO.

Education
Atlee Yarrow earned an Associates of Arts degree towards education at Florida Community College at Jacksonville with a Phi Theta Kappa Society honor. Current plan is to expand on this with a duel Associates of Science degree in aerospace at FCCJ and bachelor's in same with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Political Career
He has been a political activist supporting many local issues associated with or supported People for Peace and Justice, Movement for Economic Justice, Concerned Taxpayers of Duval, Wage Peace. A 1992 Mayoral candidate for the City of Auburn, GA. Former member GCIU Local 8M, Atlanta, GA. Ran as a write-in Candidate for Governor of Florida, but dropped out of the race to supported write-in Candidate Omari Musa.

Elected twice as an Officer of the Socialist Party of Florida, Secretary 2004 & 2006.

Atlee Yarrow has been known for his opinions on many topics. Has also been questioned by some, “I have decided to dub the Atlee Yarrow Starbuck debacle ‘Coffeegate’.” After a news story done by Folioweekly in which he drank coffee at a local Starbucks.

Occupational Career
His formal career was as a Press Operator in and around the Atlanta, GA metro area and several locations within Florida.
He held several other side jobs (waiter, busboy, food runner, construction worker, newspaper delivery person, cashier, retail counter service, marine rigging, and as a student he volunteers with education and aerospace projects) as a common worker which helped him relate and understand to those persons he has supported in the past as an activist of the working poor.
