Patrick “Pat” Noble (born April 28, 1993) is an American democratic socialist politician, activist, interim National Treasurer of the Socialist Party USA, and current State Secretary of the Socialist Party of New Jersey. Additionally, Noble is a member of the Red Bank Regional High School Board of Education, winning election in November 2012 and taking office in January 2013. This makes him the only elected socialist in New Jersey, and the youngest in United States history. His position as interim National Treasurer of the SPUSA also makes him the youngest treasurer of a national political party to date. Noble was a candidate for the Board of Chosen Freeholders in Monmouth County, New Jersey in the 2011 elections, becoming the youngest person in New Jersey history to run for said office. He was also the only socialist candidate for any office in New Jersey in 2011. Noble was one of five New Jersey delegates to the Socialist Party USA's 2011 National Convention in Los Angeles, California. During the Party's nominating process, Noble voted for Stewart Alexander of California, who went out to win the presidential nomination. He abstained from the vice-presidential vote, in protest of anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan being prevented from being a nominee for the Party's vice-presidential nomination. In June 2013, Noble was elected by the Socialist Party USA National Committee to serve as interim National Treasurer of the Party, through their national convention in the autumn of 2013.
