Biography Athanasios Gelinos (born 1 October 1988) is a famous Greek painter and etcher. Thanasis is one of the most promising talents in the art-scene since years. Nowadays he is trying to pursue a career as a bouzouki artist. Hoping to release his first demo around june 2008. Bouzouki Athanasios plays the bouzouki both rebetiko and tetrachordo, baglama saz, oud, kemence and fretless guitar, he recorded several songs under the name Thanasis Gelinos. Recently he began working on the popsong Wakt Een Minuut(Waarom Reis Je Alz Dat) featuring Jispir, Suhayb Salam and Meisje van Halal. Painting His style combines old abstract landscapes with modern-age figures. His most famous painting ;h (named after a MSN messenger combination) was sold in New York for over $50,000 Other painting such as Ta Panta Gia To Xrima and Ik Ga De Studio Uit have been sold over $2000 each. Upcoming releases The next demo with songs of Athanasios Gelinos will be released by IBP International. The new demo will be released in June 2008 and will include new songs composed by Athanasios Gelinos with influences of various international famous composers.
