Astrogenomics
The term Astrogenomics is a new concept, based on the integration of two important branches in biological science: "Genomics" and "Astrobiology". Genomics, can assist astrobiologists study the origin and evolution of life on Earth as a surrogate for understanding how life could have emerged elsewhere in the universe.
Historia
This term was first-time introduced by senior researcher David S. Holmes, as part of the "Integrative Biology Summit-2013" meeting (August 5-7, 2013, Embassy Suites Las Vegas, USA) in his talk as keynote speaker titled: "Astrogenomics: A Convergence of Disciplines Spawning Inspiration".
