			| Association of Historians ( AHI)   is  an autonomous  registered Society in India- registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860  - an Act for the Registration of Welfare, Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies. Aim and Objectives
 The aim of the Society is to free the study of History from the shackles of an interpretive  narration of the past []  pertaining  only to the accounts of kings, queens and their deeds.
 To un-bounden  the study of the discipline of History  confined to the  geographical, political and personal  boundaries where it has remained the  domain of  those  with a  bunch of books that they might have read or authored.
 To  encompass all the disciplines that affect men and women.
 To delineate Historical events' with present times for its didacticism.
 To brings persons from all disciplines together and  evolve a common platform  for the exchange of ideas for  overall development and progress.
 To find factors that retrograded the human progress[] due to  mis- appreciations, misjudgments,and or  deviation from the Goal.
 To provide a  historical pedestal  to all those  those who dared to challenge the system for  betterment of the society [] and or the institutions but  were sacrificed, victimised, harassed  at the altar of expedience and stood thrust  in to the limbo of oblivion.
 To resurrect and exhume all events of management,discoveries, researches and scientific  innovations  whom the stereotype  study of history has neglected.

 Dr Sushil Kumar, a Gandhian scholar,  had  inaugurated the World Peace Congress in 2008 at Bangalore, India.. He is an alumnus of Guru Nanak Dev University (Distinguished Alumni), Agra University, Madras University, Punjab University and Jawahar Lal Nehru University, New Delhi,
 Dr Kumar has written columns for The Indian Express, New Delhi http://www.indianexpress.com/news/soldiers-were-the-heroes-of-1857/29684/, http://www.indianexpress.com/news/the-forgotten-harbingers-of-1857/32777/, The Pioneer , The Tribune  and other main  stream newspapers and magazines. He has  authored  articles and Books such as “Surrender of Japan”, Nuclear Strategy for Third World Countries with focus on India, China and Pakistan, Philosophy of History, Pokhran Revisited, Rock Art: The Product of Human Imagination and Imaginable Achievements, Peace and Conflict Resolution, Yudh Hote Hi Rahenge. Why Tinker With History? Soldiers were the Heroes of 1857, The forgotten Harbingers of 1857 etc.
