Asian Student Medical Journal

The Asian Student Medical Journal is an online open access student medical journal. The Asian Students' Medical Journal is an endeavor to provide medical students with a platform to express themselves, publish their research, create awareness regarding different medical issues and, in general, create a forum of, for and by medical students to interact and grow. ASMJ is managed entirely by Medical students, from Editing to Web-designing and hosting. The journal was originally published from the Calicut Medical College and now by Elsevier, India. It was established in the last quarter of 2002 and founded by Vinod Scaria a medical graduate of the college. The journal then moved to Delhi and is presently edited by a vibrant editorial team from various medical colleges. The Asian Students’ Medical Journal is an endeavor to provide medical students with a platform to express themselves, publish their research, create awareness regarding different medical issues and, in general, create a forum of, for and by medical students to interact and grow.
ASMJ is managed entirely by Medical students, from Editing to Web-designing and hosting. The Journal contains articles that have been specially commissioned with medical students in mind. It is the only dedicated student journal in Asia by far, elucidating the need for having yet another medical journal.
