Asian Business Student Association

The Asian Business Student Association (ABSA) is a student organization that is focused on increasing awareness of Asian cultures and their economies, broadening social network of its members, as well as holding and promoting useful career workshops and job fairs. The core values: Efficiency; Enthusiasm; Efficacy; Equality; Excellence.
History
Asian Business Student Association (ABSA) is the first Asian-interest student group at the University of Washington School of Business (Now named Michael G. Foster School of Business). ABSA is officially founded in the University of Washington on April 2, 2008. Until today, its general membership base has grown to over 100 in less than one year.
Organizational Structure
Original structure: President; Internal VP; External VP; Treasurer; Secretary; and Strategic Planning Committee (SPC).
First revised structure: President; VP Public Relation; VP Communication; VP Technology; VP Marketing; VP Event; VP Diversity; VP Finance; and VP Membership.
09-10 structure: President; Vice President; Treasurer; Secretary; Technology Director; Event Director; Membership Chair; Marketing Chair; Fundraising Chair; and General Officer.
