Asia Technology Initiative

Asia Technology Initiative, or ATI, is an organization promoting entrepreneurship in technology and industry within Asia. Its mission is to cultivate the next-generation of global entrepreneurs via hands-on entrepreneurial experience in different parts of Asia, including Singapore, China, Taiwan, and India.
Each summer, a number of highly motivated college students are selected to go to different hotspots within Asia. The students interact and work with local companies on core projects where they learn about local business settings by interacting closely with entrepreneurs at these sites. At the end of their ten weeks of stay, annual entrepreneurship conferences are coordinated at each of these sites with the goal of providing a forum for students, entrepreneurs, industrialists, academics, venture capitalists, and government officials with similar interests to interact and ultimately promote the sharing of intellectual and business resources.
The program began at Stanford University, and has since spread to top universities in all affiliated Asian sites, including Shanghai Jiaotong University and Fudan University.
