Ashra Kwesi is an African-American lecturer and scholar on the History of Africa which he refers to as Kemet. Ashra has spent various years with Dr. Yosef ben Jochannan also known as Dr.Ben studying Africa and the manifestation of religious concepts such as Christianity, Judiasm, and Islam. Ashra Kwesi for many years has been taking groups of African Americans to Kemet for the Know thy self tour. Ashra Kwesi is married to Merrira Kwesi who is also a lecturer on Africain cutlture. Ashra Kwesi owns Kemet-Nu Productions which is a black-owned company which releases the Know thy self tours on books and on Cd's. |
