Ashay Dharwadker (born January 1, 1967, New Delhi, India) is an Indian mathematician whose research focuses on algebra, topology, graph theory, computer science and the foundations of physics. Research Significant contributions include a new proof of the four color theorem based on algebraic and topological methods, which leads to a grand unified theory of particle physics. The textbook on graph theory is one of the most comprehensive books on the subject and several algorithms for solving problems in graph theory and their applications have been published. Organizing The Institute of Mathematics, Gurgaon, India, was established in 2009 in cooperation with Euroacademy, Tallinn, Estonia, for joint research, teaching and publication of research findings. The Estonian participation is mainly in the area of semiotics of the structure of graphs. Ashay Dharwadker is a foreign member of the board of S.E.R.R., the structure semiotics research group based at Euroacademy, Tallinn, Estonia.
