Ash Video Mixer is a video mixing software made by now defunct London based digital media agency Digital Design Works to support the Irish band Free For Angels album. It allows fans to create their own music video for each of the 13 tracks. After its release, each single from the album were engineered to add more tracks and videos assets to it thus adding value for the fans. The video made with it were originally shared among fans online through a dedicated site (ashvideomixer.com), which received more than 17,000 visits. "The band have been away for two years so we have had to create and then begin marketing a fanbase from scratch and we needed something special. We had already worked with Digital Design Works on projects for My Vitriol and the video mixer idea had the backing of the band who are film and video enthusiasts and carry a digital camera with them all the time. This has created some interesting stills," says Infectious label manager Nigel Adams.
