Africa Soccer Developments, or ASD Cape Town, is a South African football academy based in the Claremont suburb of the city of Cape Town. History The academy was founded by Englishman Mike Steptoe in April 2009 and has received backing from English Premier League players including Danny Collins and Stephen Warnock. Since 2012 they have a partnership with local club Salt River Blackpool which sees them playing under the name Salt River Blackpool ASD in the SAFA 2nd Division.
