Arvind Ramalingam is an Indian advertising professional, director, producer and actor in the Tamil film industry, His debut film, ,was nominated for awards in several film festivals around the world.
Early life
After completing his studies in Coimbatore, Ramalingam moved to Chennai to train in graphic design. After working with advertising agencies in Chennai he decided to start his own venture TCC in 2009, Within three years, TCC had become the top independent creative Agency in Chennai and Second Best Creative Agency in South India.
Ramalingam started Creative Criminal, a film production house, primarily engaged in ad films and ad related videos. He received the commission to direct a music video featuring Prabhu Deva for Boost. He has directed many TV commercials .
Filmmaking
Ramalingam finished shooting of Karma in September, 2015, directing, producing and acting in the film. Karma is Crime-Thriller film in which Ramalingam plays the only two characters. He was nominated for Best Director of a Foreign Language Feature Film at the Madrid International Film Festival, 2016.<ref name="auto"/>
