Rev. Fr. Dr. Sebastian Ousepparampil (born 14 February 1948) is the current Principal of St. Joseph's College, Jakhama. He wrote several books and over 50 articles on health and development and was the Managing editor for Health Action Magazine which published over 50 editorials. Career Ousepparampil worked as a Rector for three years at the Good Shepherd Seminary, Dimapur after which he served as Director for Social Work for 15 years (1976-1991). He later served as the Director for North East Forum (1985-1991) and was appointed as the Secretary and Chancellor diocese of Kohima from 1979 to 1991. He also served as the Administrator of St. Johns Medical College from 1991 to 1995 and then served as Associate Director at St. John's, National academy of Health Sciences from 1997 to 2001. He was the Director General For Catholic Health Association from 2001 to 2011 and then served as the Director for Development Association of Nagaland from 2011 to 2015. In 2015, Ousepparampil was appointed as the Principal of St. Joseph's College, Jakhama. Works Ousepparampil developed the regional forum and established its head office in Karguli - Guwahati with a training center. In St. John's, National Academy of Health Sciences, the hospital that was running at a loss was transformed into a hospital with a financial gain of Rs. 7.53 cores in one year and upgraded the hospital from 750 beds to 1200 beds. He restructured the OPD and made it patient friendly by making it almost zero waiting time for the patient.
