Ariana Agrapides (born 31 January 2001) is an American artistic gymnast from Neptune, New Jersey. Ariana was born on the 31st January 2001 to parents Danielle and John Agrapides in Neptune, New Jersey. Soon afterwards, she moved to Bayville, New Jersey. She has three siblings. Her brother, Evan, plays baseball for Diamond's Nine in Forked River and her sister, Alexis, is a swimmer. Agrapides is very active on social networks such as Instagram and ask.fm. In January 2010, Ariana competed Level 5 at Precision Gymnastics in Forked River. In February, she moved up to Level 6 at the Presidential Classic. As she was talented, Agrapides skipped Level 7 and moved onto Level 8 in December. She missed out a whole year in 2011 due to an injury. Recovered from her injury, she returned at the Parkette Invitational in January and won the all-around. Once again, she skipped Level 9 and was at Level 10. She then placed in the top 10 at State Championships and in the top 20 in the Regional Championships and then competed in the Hopes Challenge at the 2012 U.S Classic. She started her 2013 season at the WOGA Classic in Frisco, Texas gaining Junior International Elite status. Returning to Level 10, she then came second at State Championships and came third at Regionals but won vault at both competitions. She qualified to the J.O Nationals in Minneapolis and came 9th in the all-around. She went to the American Classic at the Karolyi Ranch in Huntsville as a preparation meet for the up-coming Secret U.S Classic and P&G Championships. She won the Junior division, ahead of teammate Laurie Hernandez.<ref name="usagym1"/> At the Secret U.S Classic, she came 26th. She later competed in Hartford for the VISA Championships.
